Technical Advisor – Hypersonic Missile Development & Flight Test
Location:
National Capital Region (On-site or Hybrid)
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience in the development of missiles or strongly related systems.
Clearance:
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance preferred. U.S. citizenship required.
We are seeking a driven and experienced Technical Advisor to provide critical expertise on the nation's new, high-priority hypersonic missile programs. In this role, you will directly support multi-billion Department of War initiatives, wielding significant influence over the technical direction and success of next-generation strategic systems. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of hypersonic technology, solving complex challenges in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Anticipated Start Date: April 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout missile development lifecycle, including solicitation, procurement, design, analysis, testing and manufacturing
- Guide technical activities related to flight testing, ground testing, and systems engineering trade studies
- Drive the resolution of complex technical issues across multiple engineering disciplines, including aero, materials, and systems integration
- Liaise between various program stakeholders, including government and industry partners, to ensure technical alignment and program success
- Generate written and graphical content for technical progress, challenges, and risk mitigation strategies. Brief senior leadership
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the development of missiles or strongly related systems. More experienced professionals are strongly encouraged to apply, as responsibilities can be tailored to experiential fit.

- Missile material and subsystem ground test
- Missile system design and analysis (all trades)
- Missile materials, manufacturing, and Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T)
- Program management for large, complex technology programs
