Dr. Paul Ret is a Senior Consultant with MACH-20, LLC, bringing a unique blend of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership experience. His background spans materials science, advanced manufacturing, and systems engineering, complemented by extensive work as a strategic planner and organizational leader supporting the Department of Defense.
Dr. Ret has led and executed major R&D initiatives in high-temperature metals, near-net shape manufacturing, technical and manufacturing readiness assessments, nondestructive inspection techniques, and corrosion prevention. As a certified U.S. Air Force mishap investigator, he has conducted over 100 failure analyses and root cause investigations.
In leadership roles, Dr. Ret has implemented and directed enterprise-level systems engineering efforts, resolved complex requirements uncertainties, led future capability planning and analysis campaigns, and spearheaded technical and acquisition concept development. He has also applied organizational architecture principles to enhance mission effectiveness and optimize performance across defense enterprises.
