Donovan Williams is a technical advisor with MACH-20, LLC, with a strong background in manufacturing process optimization across automotive and defense sectors. His areas of expertise include steel fabrication, manufacturing life-cycle assessments, manufacturing PFMEAs, and manufacturing scale-up and transition to production.
Earlier in his career, Donovan led process improvement efforts on high volume High Pressure Die Casting and Gear finish mass production lines. During this time he became well-versed in the Kaizen philosophy, such as high quality and elimination of waste. He utilized these critical skills in optimizing the product life cycle from raw material and supplier selection through production start.
Donovan transitioned to supporting critical metal fabrication suppliers for DoD hypersonic programs such as the AGM-183A Air-launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) and conducting technical evaluations for the Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile (HACM) System Program Offices. In this role, he is leading cost reduction activities, program manufacturing reviews, quality assurance execution and supplier development.
Donovan has a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
